Gabriel teaches fantasy literature online (through Signum University) and in person (through Oxford University's Department of Continuing Education). He is the co-founder and one of the organisers of the Tolkien Lecture on Fantasy Literature: an annual lecture series held at Pembroke College, Oxford. He is also the Content Editor for the Owen Barfield Literary Estate.
